considering the similar target audiences, while they are for different reasons, they are very suitable adverts with very different purposes while the sandy hooks advert is to spread awareness about an issue it is a bit graphic in doing so, however i believe it to be a good approach as it gains your attention and opens your eyes more giving you their perspective of fear, while the advert from Asda is loud it is still very child friendly which i think is their intention because they are quite a wide-spread company that is well known across the UK if they were to have a graphic advert it could ruin their reputation and cause their sales to plumet. While both ads are categorized under "back-to-school," their objectives and methods are fundamentally different.
